Welcome to the CEP Team: Chrissy Bode, DPT

We’re very happy to welcome a new physical therapist, Chrissy to our team of PT experts. Chrissy completed her internship with CEP last winter and returns to us after finishing her undergraduate studies at Florida State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, and Nova Southeastern University, where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.

As an intern at CEP, Chrissy learned all about the NEUBIE device, a pulsed direct current treatment which has been unparalleled in addressing dysfunctions and decreasing chronic pain among our patient population. The device impacts the body at the neurological level to change the inputs the body is receiving regarding pain and muscle function. This corrects the dysfunctional patterns that lead to chronic injury. Our clients continue to experience incredible success with this technology, and Chrissy is excited to return to CEP and begin her physical therapist career using next-generation physical therapy technology and methods!

Q: What’s your favorite part about physical therapy?
A: My favorite part of physical therapy is connecting with patients to help them reach their goals and return them to the activities they love.

Q: Who or what has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?
A: My parents have always instilled a strong work ethic in me. They have encouraged me to work hard for the things I am passionate about and I use this passion everyday as I treat each individual patient.

Q: Do you have any hidden talents?
A: I can play the piano.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: traveling, spending time outdoors, watching Tampa Bay sports teams, and trying out new restaurants.
