Our Services

We believe in taking a personal interest in our clients’ health when they reach out to us for help.

We emphasize the care in healthcare. We believe in establishing partnerships and relationships with our clients based on the merits of old-fashioned hard work, respect for their time, and results we achieve with each person who trusts us with their care.

There is no greater reward than exceeding expectations. It remains our mission to serve each of our past, present and future clients by continuing to build upon the foundation of these core values.

Graston Technique

After an injury, the body creates scar tissue to help repair damaged muscles, tendons and ligaments. This scar tissue is often weaker and less flexible than normal soft tissue and can cause pain and decreased mobility. Graston Technique utilizes specialized stainless steel tools to help detect scar tissue and adhesions within soft tissue and promotes the realignment of healing fibers to improve mobility.

Graston Technique has been clinically proven to achieve quicker and better outcomes in treating both acute and chronic conditions such as:

  • Cervical sprain/strain – Neck pain
  • Lumbar sprain/strain – Low back pain
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome – Wrist pain
  • Plantar Fasciitis – Foot pain
  • Lateral Epicondylitis – Tennis elbow
  • Medial Epicondylitis – Golfer’s elbow
  • Rotator Cuff Tendinosis – Shoulder pain
  • Patellofemoral Disorders – Knee pain
  • Achilles Tendinosis – Ankle pain
  • Shin Splints/Running Injuries

Graston instruments resonate in the clinician’s hands allowing the therapist to isolate adhesions and restrictions and treat them with precision. Just as a stethoscope amplifies what the human ear can hear, the Graston instruments significantly increase what the human hands can feel. Combined with stretching and strengthening activities, Graston Technique can drastically reduce recovery time.

KINESIOTAPE

Kinesiotape is a revolutionary sports medicine solution for treating and preventing common sports injuries such as shoulder impingement, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, and more.

Kinesiotape provides the same support and stability as other modalities without restricting blood flow or limiting ranges of motion. It is applied over and around muscles, ligaments, tendons and other soft or fibrous tissues to provide lightweight, comfortable support, prevent injury and speed recovery.

CEP is proud to offer Rock Tape brand kinesiotape, which has been found to have superior durability for athletes rehabilitating, recovering, and training under the toughest conditions. Our clinical trials have shown Rock Tape to last for several days following application.

Key features include:

  • Heat activated latex-free adhesive meets needs of even the most sensitive skin and will not deactivate in water
  • Elasticity stimulates skins natural give and stretch for a “second skin” effect and can last longer than other tape applications (up to 5 days)
  • Supports and provides stability without restricting ranges of motion
  • Therapeutic effects lift and convolutes facial plane to allow for lymph drainage

Kinesiotape applications deliver these benefits by providing proprioception that signals muscles for facilitation or inhibition, mechanically supporting joints such as the knee or ankle, approximating connective tissues to relieve stress, or activating the one cell layer-thick lymph system to move fluid. Utilizing these techniques allows inflamed or stressed tissues to have a chance to heal.
